FTBOMT Vol I EP 04
Behind the Green Door

One of the things I am quickly learning with video is that it is an enormous time sink, especially when you are learning how to do it. This five-minute video took a little over an hour to produce, which included multiple takes and multiple drafts. By comparison, it takes about ninety minutes to record the Friday show most weeks. Maybe a half hour of prep and then editing it for weird noises. All together it is about four hours of work over a few days.
Interestingly, the biggest challenge thus far has been the audio. The mic on the camera is not great, so it means using some sort of remote mic. Where the mic is located on or near you makes a much bigger difference outside than inside an office or studio. That means editing the resulting audio takes way more work than with the podcast. It is easy to see why professional video makers have sound engineers to figure it out on the front end.
That said, not knowing what you are doing makes a big difference. When I started the podcast, I would take up to ten hours to get a one-hour show. It was not at one sitting, but a little each day until I finally had it to an acceptable level. Much of that time was spent figuring out how to remove a weird noise without removing the whole clip. Now it is second nature. Presumably, something similar will happen with my video editing learning curve.
The news says that Team Trump is firing dozens of FBI agents and DOJ lawyers. The number I heard was ninety FBI agents, most in senior management. The DOJ lawyers are all J6 people. My bet is some of those fired FBI guys know a thing or two about editing videos, given how much time they spend faking evidence for their frame-up jobs. Now that they are looking for work, maybe I can pick up a post-production staffer or two for this operation.
In all seriousness, this is a stunning move. I did not think they would go through with it or if they did, it would be a few people who did egregious things. Instead, they have decapitated the FBI. Word is they plan to clean house in the DOJ. The civil rights division will either be closed or folded into some other areas of the agency. Apparently, the DOGE people just shut down an IT agency that enforced things like pronouns in e-mails and the inclusive use of language.
The counter revolution is upon us.

Welcome to my backyard.
I'm actually standing on my back porch looking out into the woods.
As of a few days ago, it was all snow.
But we've had some balmy weather here, and all the snow's gone.
There's a few piles here and there.
Although, as I'm recording this, I started to try and record this at about 7.30.
It's about 8.30 now, I guess.
Yeah, about 8.30.
Had a few takes.
I'm working with a new mic,
and I knew when I started this video stuff that it would just be one thing after another.
And sure enough, that's what's happening here.
When I was in the pole barn, someone said that the echo was terrible.
And that's because the mic on the camera was, I don't know, seven or eight feet away from me.
And when I walk around and it's close to me, it's not too bad.
But when I hold the camera near me walking around, you hear me rustling around and stuff.
So you get other kind of noise you don't want.
So anyway, so looking around online, people said, oh, what you need?
Well, they didn't tell me.
The experts all use various types of what I would call lapel mic.
Back in the old days,
when you went to a conference,
you gave a talk,
they clipped this thing on your lapel,
your jacket.
So that's what I call it.
They have another name for it.
Well, they have a bunch of names for it, of course, because it's video.
And the only reason to make video is to create new jargon,
more complicated software,
more things that just make it harder to actually produce the video.
But anyway, I bought one, like $100.
It's supposed to be the best one for the GoPro.
Now, I don't believe that because I saw one for a GoPro that was like, I don't know, $1,000.
So who knows?
But anyway, this is the best one that I would expect that a normal person would buy.
So we'll give it a shot.
We'll see how it sounds.
The first couple tries were not so great, but we'll see what happens.
This has been my last shot at it because even though when I got this morning,
it was like 40 degrees.
The temperature is dropping fast, so I'm standing outside in my PJs and it's pretty damn cold.
So whether it comes out good or not, this is it.
The big news, though, the thing that really matters is the night of the long knives.
Last night, well, I guess starting yesterday afternoon,
They went through the Department of Justice and fired all the J6 prosecutors.
And they didn't just fire them either.
They walked them out of their offices.
They seized their computers.
I mean, they did it the old fashioned way.
They did it the corporate way, the corporate takeover way.
Well, in my old life, there was a time where I was a part of these takeover teams.
And that's what you did when the deal was done and ownership changed,
you know,
the big company bought the little company,
a team of people went in,
you secured all this stuff.
There was IT guys secured all the IT stuff.
The accounting guys came in and took control of the books, you know, that's just the way it is.
And a lot of times people, you know, senior people at the former company,
You know,
they weren't at the top where they were getting paid off,
but they were,
you know,
somehow involved in,
you know,
the next layer below sea level,
let's say.
Some of these people were just, you know, walked out of the building, you know, good job.
Thank you for your service.
And, you know, get out.
So anyway, they did that.
And then they did this with the FBI.
That was the next thing.
As of last night, the number was 90 FBI agents had been
They're terminated or I guess what they're doing is they're giving them the deal
that they can take a demotion and a transfer to the Aleutian Islands or some other
horrible place or they can retire or they can just quit,
take the buyout.
That's what they're doing to them.
And I guess a lot of these were involved in J6,
but a lot of them were just guys in running field offices that they just determined
that were going to be trouble.
So basically, it's a decapitation of the FBI.
That's what's going on, which is a great thing.
But more important,
though,
if you're Letitia James or you're Alvin Bragg,
you better be thinking about what you're going to do next.
Because if they're going after these guys, you can be sure Trump is going to go after those two.
Because those two harassed the crap out of him.
And not just him.
They went after the National Rifle Association.
They went after VDARE.
They went after other people.
So there's a good reason.
There's a lot of people in Trump's coalition.
There's corporations that are just sick of dealing with these two.
So there's a good chance that the FBI,
the new FBI,
the new DOJ,
they're going to start sniffing around Alvin and Letitia,
see what they can find.
And you can be sure these two knuckleheads, they've got problems.
It is a guarantee that they've got some money problems,
where they mixed up their money with the state's money,
or they've got some violations of the rules.
Think about what that woman in Atlanta, Fannie something or other,
old Fanny,
when they started digging around in her life,
you know,
they found out that she was living quite the life.
So if I were Leticia James and Alvin Bragg,
I think I'd be plotting my course over the Canadian border and maybe Justin from
Canada will give them sanctuary.
All right, well, I'm getting cold.
I hope this turns out okay.
